Fork Mini’s began during the winter when painting in the studio was too cold and small works were easy to paint in the living room. One night I thought I had all my materials with me, but as I started to look for the paintbrush I realized I’d have to improvise. Looking around the table for something that I could paint with, the salad fork from dinner seemed like the closest and most appealing tool. From there Fork Mini’s were born. Most mini’s are painted with that same fork, fingertips and a teeny tiny palette knife.
