Erika Rachel at Dohm Alley combines Education, Public Art, Community Engagement, and a platform for Storytelling.

Dohm Alley is a public art space in Princeton NJ, created by volunteers and artists with the theme of the Romantic Poets. The scope and storyline of the art inches out from that central focus, but every piece of art creates a dialog about the relationships between all these subjects, influences and cultural shifts. Erika Rachel’s contribution to the dialog is a painting called A Case For Impromptus about the cultural shift from church and rigor to self actualization and spontaneity.

Erika and her friends have compiled a list of their top 15 suggestions to uplift your mood and tickle your tastebuds after you’ve taken in the beautiful art at Dohm Alley. Your IQ may not rise up to the level of Albert Einstein, a former resident, but you can definitely have a lot of fun and leave a little more inspired.

1. The Princeton City Tour

The Princeton Tour educates tourists about the history of the city & the community. They organize events and private tours, holiday trolley tours, school tours, and weekend walking tours across the town. Everybody who takes part in these tours is likely to enjoy a great time knowing about the rich cultural history of this town.

2. Dine at the Mistral Restaurant

Named among the top 25 Restaurants by Princeton, the Mistral Restaurant is a classy restaurant which is known to serve a variety of American dishes. On the menu, you can enjoy everything from bluefish and oysters to rabbit & buckwheat short steak. In addition, they also have an exclusive wine menu for travelers.

Opened in the year 2008, this stadium is a home ground of the Princeton University’s soccer team & as long as you visit in-season, you can also watch how the Princeton Tigers dominate!

4. The Art Museum

Covering almost 5000 years of artwork, along with a rotating collection of ninety-three thousand items, the holdings in Princeton represent among the biggest of any art museum in a university. Yet it's perfectly laid out and amazingly intimate. Visitors are astonished to see the depth of this collection. Majority of the small museums feature one Warhol and one Monet. On the contrary, Princeton has 3 of each. Upstairs, you can find alluring & important works of European and contemporary art: downstairs, antiquity and Medieval art pieces that are second to none.

Rat's restaurant was called the state's most romantic restaurant by New Jersey Monthly. Garden sculptures, superb landscaping, "Gypsy Wagon" passage and lakeside is only 50 percent of it. 6. The Prospect House

Situated in the campus area of the Princeton University, the Prospect House has an exciting history which includes it once being a homeland of the president of the Princeton University & currently a dining area for staff and faculty members. The Garden Room, which is among the primary areas of the restaurant, is open during lunch hours from Monday to Friday. Plus, it offers menu on a la carte basis and even accepts advanced bookings.
